People Can’t Hold on to Success
Have you ever wondered why you can’t hang on to success? Maybe you have your moments but ultimately, it seems to slip through your fingers? You achieve something great but you’re burnt out and tired? You're not alone. The real problem isn't your goals or your motivation—it's that most productivity systems ignore one critical factor: your natural energy cycles.
How I Discovered How to Work With My Own Energy
I wish I could tell you something pretty but the discovery of working with my own energy started with everything going wrong. My dad passed away, I developed long covid, went through a break up and couldn’t work for one year because I had neurological issues. I remember one day sitting in my back yard, I couldn’t exercise, I had chronic fatigue, and I thought: “is this my life now.”?
I simply couldn’t accept that. I built myself back up brick by brick. Each day even when I felt terrible, I told myself I felt great. I also actively took care of my health and wellbeing. I was on an antihistamine diet, I did acupuncture and shiatsu. I took daily walks on the beach with my dog. Slowly, I started coming back to life. The problem was, I was weak. I could only work for 2-3 hours at a time without feeling my brain sizzle out. That meant I learned to be hyperaware of my energy. At the time that looked like eating well, light movement, short bursts of concentration, many breaks, and only working half a day. I had to say no to many opportunities.
The good news is, I’m finally at a point where I really feel my energy and strength coming back. I developed a system to operate at my best and I’d like to share it with you. I developed this with entrepreneurs in mind and also women. You’ll see why in a sec. However, it’s really going to be beneficial for everyone who wants to have success in a way that is sustainable.
A Solution to Sustain Success Based on Your Natural Cycles
I am literally opening up my daily journal to you. I created the Daily Energy Map—a simple but powerful productivity system that helps you track, understand, and leverage your natural energy patterns.
Unlike traditional productivity systems that simply focus on getting a massive amount of work scheduled, the Energy Map helps you match WHEN and WHAT you do with your current energy level. Once you have enough entries, you’ll discover patterns and be able to shift how you operate to what works best for YOU.
For example, when you're at level 5—peak energy—that's when you tackle challenging creative projects or complex problem-solving. When you're at level 1—minimal energy—instead of pushing through and burning out, you focus on passive activities or simple planning tasks.
Stop working against your body. That is the surest way to failure.
If you want to be successful, you need to:
Listen to your body
Respect your body
Give your body what it needs
By working WITH your energy rather than against it, you create sustainable success that doesn't lead to burnout.
